Not just a business but two families joining, this is the story behind D&W Plumbing.

Henry Dail grew up around plumbing, his father was a plumber so at age 18 when he graduated from high school, Henry knew he wanted to start his own plumbing business. While in high school Henry met his high school sweetheart, Beckie, Michael White’s daughter. Michael was a farmer and like Henry had followed in his father’s footsteps and took over the family farm when he graduated from high school. At this point in his life he was ready for a change, but not sure what it was going to be. During the next year after Henry graduated he began working and obtained his Plumbing and General Contractors License. Michael would help him when farming was slow. They embarked on a new adventure in 1994, when D & W Plumbing began. During the next few years the two worked alone building their business. BJ, Michael’s wife, became the bookkeeper. By 2006, Doug, Michael’s other son in law, joined the company. The three worked closely together everyday. In 2013 Michael decided to retire but still helps out part time.
